Any information as to how being a significant other of an army member goes? Any advice or suggestions. I'm not sure what to expect...

A Captain is an officer with some experience under his belt. You will be expected to play ';politics'; to some degree, especially if you live on base.





You will have some great experiences, but you will also have some lonely times, especially if he is out to the field or overseas. You will need some support...friends, other army wives, your family.When you are a captain in the Army what does that mean? Any gf or wives of army men have advice...?
It means your an O-3 on the officer scale....it goes up to 0-9

A wife of someone in the Army is much different than being just a girlfriend of someone in the Army. The wife gets military benefits. The girlfriend doesn't get a thing.





Is he full time, or part time military? My mom couldn't make specific plans with my dad on weekends, because the Military schedules changed a lot.
