Men's curly hair, advice from women only please!?

I have afican curly hair/roman curly hair, it poofs up too much, if I let it dry natrally then it shows a cowlick. I straitened my hair and it came out nice, but I don't like the hassale of fixing it with the iron in the morning, give some sweet style ideas!Men's curly hair, advice from women only please!?
See a stylist who is experienced in textured hair. Get a stylish cut for your natural curls. Styling creme can moisturize your hair and tame the shape of your curl at the same time.Men's curly hair, advice from women only please!?
well, to get the hair straight, there is really only two ways to change it. One is to get up every morning and try to straight it. which i guess you don't like to do. Another way is to go to the salon and get it permanent straight, which will last about one year. that is really the two only way i can think of.

hope it helps.
I love curly hair. Get a relaxer. Cut it so that it's shorter and you don't have to worry about fixing it with an iron.
you can cut it and have it about 1-2 inches long, it will be long enough that you can put products in it to make it strait but if you didn't want to deal with it you could just let go and it would just be wavy.

You can also buy a home straightener (its usually found with the perms in the store) and just straiten it at home.
Have you tried putting a little gel or hair putty in before it dries naturally? That should hold the curl and make it less likely to poof. Rub a little hair serum on too. Also, since you have multicultural hair then you should go to this website called Mixed Chicks (http://www.mixedchicks.net/) They have WONDERFUL products!! I use them on myself and my kids.

And if you haven't already, please don't get a relaxer unless you absolutely have to! It will keep it straight for a few months (depending on your hair type) but it could damage it too. And by keeping it straight you will still occasionally have to go over it with the flat iron anyways! :) Having mixed hair is an unending battle huh? :) Hope this helps!
